1. American Standard: UNS R60702, common name Zr702, industrial commercial pure zirconium, the most commonly used industrial pure zirconium grade.
2. Applicable Standards (Bars): ASTM B550, ASME SB550.
Total Zr+Hf content ≥99.2%; Key impurity limits: Hf≤4.5%, O 0.11%~0.15%, Fe+Cr≤0.20%, C≤0.03%, impurity content is extremely low.
1. Superior Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to nitric acid, various organic acids, strong alkalis, high-salt seawater, and chloride ion corrosion. Its corrosion resistance surpasses that of GR5 titanium and stainless steel, approaching that of tantalum, making it the preferred material for highly corrosive chemical environments.
2. Excellent Machinability: Good plasticity in the annealed state, allowing for cutting, bending, and argon arc welding.
3. Low Activation Characteristics: Small neutron absorption cross-section, suitable for use not only in chemical applications but also in non-core components of conventional nuclear power plants.

Zr702 VS Zr705/R60705
• Zr702 (R60702): Pure zirconium, good plasticity, suitable for corrosive conditions, but with relatively low strength;
• Zr705: Alloyed with 2.5% Nb, its strength is greatly improved, suitable for both pressure-bearing and corrosive conditions.
